Announced in October, Rumu is often a point-and-click adventure starring a sentient hoover, mounted in an eerily abandoned sci-fi Smart Home. You might need not really a perfect elevator pitch, I am not sure what is. Gleam cat to them. Oh, and it’s also releasing in the future, on December 13.
For a comprehensive rundown of what is going on, I spoke with the game’s lead designer at PAX in October (the game also ranked one of the most promising we saw as well convention). But if you didn’t read that or don’t wish to, Rumu stars vacuum pressure cleaner with that name, navigating an isometrically-viewed Smart Home “littered with semi-intelligent devices to break into into to get to know”.
“When something draws you away from your home maintenance duties and into the hidden passageways and long forgotten rooms entrance, you’ll be met with challenging moral dilemmas forcing you beyond the programming to uncover the truth in regards to the love and decrease of your elusive family,” so says the Steam description. Additionally, it incorporates a cat there.
